Practical mental health training for first responders
The interactive Remind Training was developed to provide first responders with a new perspective on how to handle a variety of situations while in the field. With a focus on behavioral health, substance abuse, active communication, and de-escalation techniques, these free online courses are tailored to provide you
with a better understanding of handling diverse scenarios with more confidence. Realistic case scenarios are featured throughout the training and Courses 3 and 4 include film clips from the documentary Ernie & Joe: Crisis Cops. This training can be used to fulfill 6 hours of training with departmental approval.
